Dr. Maria Boorman has been practicing naturopathic medicine in her hometown of Victoria since 1999. In her practice, Dr. Maria uses nutritional counselling; nutritional supplementation; herbal medicine; IV therapeutics; and the cautious prescribing of pharmaceutical medications to treat her patients. Most of all she likes to focus on building strong and caring relationships with her patients as she assists them with the health issues they have encountered. She is known for using her curiosity, research skills and intuition to bring light to health concerns that have yet to be diagnosed and she has a methodical and common sense approach to treatment.

Dr. Maria Boorman, ND received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Microbiology from The University of Victoria prior to completing her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University. Dr. Boorman is a member in good standing of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA), College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia (CNPBC) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
Dr. Amelia Patillo, ND
Dr. Amelia Patillo is a naturopathic doctor who is best known for being down-to-earth, friendly and attentive. She strives to create a healing environment where her patients feel safe, heard and respected.
Dr. Amelia helps her patients feel their best using a combination of natural and conventional means to restore optimal function. In her practice she conducts thorough history taking, lab work and physical exams to uncover the root of the imbalance happening in her patients. She then formulates custom treatment plans using a variety of therapies. As a naturopathic doctor her goal is to use the least invasive - but most effective - healing modality as possible. She uses a combination of lifestyle modifications and counselling, nutrition advice, herbal medicine, dietary supplements, acupuncture, intravenous therapy, and pharmaceuticals to restore health, balance and vitality in her patients.

Dr. Amelia likes to keep close to nature and encourages others to do the same. She does this by spending lots of time outdoors, creating tasty herbal concoctions, and cooking delicious meals using whole food ingredients.

Dr. Andrea Whelan, ND
Dr. Andrea Whelan is a naturopathic doctor who welcomes patients of all ages and from all spectrums of health. Known for her warm nature, Dr. Whelan provides high quality care to each of her patients using an integrative and evidence-based approach that blends the best of science with the intelligence of nature. She meets each individual where they are at, and is supportive each step of the way with information, tools and treatments that best suit her patients unique circumstances and needs.
As a naturopathic physician, Dr. Whelan is passionate about supporting individuals and communities to become healthy and more resilient. She believes that when given the proper information and tools, people from all walks of life can maintain a strong foundation of health – adequate sleep, daily movement, mental clarity, healthy digestion, and managed stress – all which encourage health and wellbeing while helping to prevent chronic disease in the longterm. Dr. Andrea Whelan, ND received her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Calgary prior to completing her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Whelan is a member in good standing of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA), College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia (CNPBC) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
In her spare time, she finds balance by cooking and enjoying good food, hiking, dancing and spending quality time with friends and family.

Rachel Maclaren Mallet
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Rachel Maclaren Mallet is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who enjoys working with a wide range of people. She has a style that is both collaborative and empowering. Her goal is to help clients uncover key insights that will enable them to make informed and healthy choices in their lives. Rachel's practice is trauma informed and grounded in the principles of narrative therapy, mind-body psychotherapy and expressive arts.

Attachment theory, trauma and health
Parenting and family systems

Mind-body integrative healing
Rachel has a Masters in Counselling and is a member in good standing of the British Columbia Clinical Counsellors Association. She also has additional training in narrative therapy, conflict resolution, trauma treatment, expressive arts therapy, and a diploma in Early Childhood Education. In her free time, Rachel enjoys both the adventure and calm of nature and the outdoors, as well as the cosy comforts of home.
Rachel sees patients at Lansdowne Naturopathic on Mondays from 12:30-4:30pm
